Email addresses

If you sign up for burn ban alerts, we store your email address and the county you selected. We use this information for exactly one purpose: sending you burn ban status alerts and directly related service messages. We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can request deletion at any time by emailing contact@burnbantexas.com.

Server logs and analytics

Like most websites, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, pages requested) to serve and secure the site. We may use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not build individual profiles.

Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. If advertising is introduced, ad providers may set cookies subject to their own policies, and this policy will be updated first.
